2] Visit to the most beautiful hill station Dharamshala.

Dharamshala is approx. 120 kms away from Dalhousie. It takes approx. 4 hrs to reach Dharamshala through car. One can see all unmissable places of Dharamshala in 2 to 3 days.

Places to visit :-

1) Mcleodganj - Mcleodganj is 25 kms. away from Dharamshala. One can board a taxi to reach Mcleodganj. It is also known as "LITTLE LHASA" or "DHASA" because of its Tibetian population. The famous Buddhist monk Dalai Lama lives here.

2) Bhakshu Nag (Snake) - Bhakshu Nag is 7 kms. away from Dharamshala. There is a pool near Bhakshu Nag.

3) Dharamshala Cricket Stadium - The stadium is 4 kms. away from Dharamshala. This is very famous cricket stadium. The real size cut outs of Indian cricketers are there outside the stadium. One can also click pictures with them.

4) Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram (Ram Mandir) - Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram is approx. 9 kms. away from Dharamshala. The ashram was made by Late Swami Chinmayanand. The ashram has a tall 9 feet statue of Hanuman, Ram Mandir, a meditation hall, a school and a health and recreation center. Also the view of beautiful snowy mountains increases the beauty of Tapovan.

5) Gyuto Buddhist Monastery - Gyuto Monastery is 8 kms. away from Dharamshala and 13 kms. away from Mcleodganj. It is easy to reach there through road, rail as well as airways. It is one of the most famous and popular monastery in Dharamshala.

6) Chamunda Devi Temple - Chamunda Devi temple is approx. 16 kms. away from Dharamshala. Buses as well as taxi is available to reach Chamunda Devi temple. There is idol of Shiva in the temple.

7) Tea Garden - There is a tea garden in Dharamshala. All the tea plantations are grown in sloppy, hilly region for better growth. Equal-sized plantation is done.

8) Baijnath Mandir (Dhauladhar Range) - Baijnath Temple is approx. 54 kms. away from Dharamshala. The ancient temple of Lord Shiva is situated here. Lord Shiva is worshiped as "GOD OF HEALING".
